Comparative Religion & Multicultural Literature

Comparative Religion and Multicultural Literature is an interdisciplinary field of study that examines how religious ideas and practices are represented, interpreted, and contested within diverse cultural literary traditions, particularly in relation to material interests and power dynamics. This discipline includes the study of how religions construct social and cultural realities, drawing on a multifaith framework that promotes interreligious understanding, dialogue, and collaboration.

비교 종교와 다문화 문헌  저널은 종교적 이념과 실천이 다양한 문화와 문헌의 전통에서 어떻게 재현되고 해석되며 논의되는 지에 주목한다. 특별히 종교적 담론이 폭 넓은 물질적 스펙트럼과 권력의 역동성에 엮어지는 지를 분석한다.  이러한 사회 문화적 접근방식은 다양한 신앙 공동체들이 어떻게 삶과 궁극적 실재, 윤리적인 태도 그리고 다양한 생활세계를 질문하고, 또한 민주적이며 다문화적인 사회에서 종교가 어떻게 사회 문화적 실재를 구성하는 지를 검토한다. 이러한 틀에서 다른 종교의 전통들과 선택적 친화력을 추구하면서 대화와 협력을 모색한다.

비교 종교를 탐구하는 공공 신학은 종교의 사회 문화적 구성을 철학, 신학적이며 사회학 그리고 자연과학의 틀에서 공론장의 복잡성을 민주적인 열망에 자리매김하고 근대성에 이르는 대안적인 길들을 분석한다.  

Our scholarly endeavor explores the extent to which comparative religion and multiculturalism help shape human ethos, compassion, and material interests within broader socio-cultural structures. We also interrogate how religious constructions are embedded in systems of power, privilege, and cultural stratification.

학문적 연구는 비교 종교와 다문화의 현실을 통해 인간의 윤리와 도덕적인 심정, 물질적인 이해 관계들을 사회 문화적 구조에 자리매김한다. 그리고 우리는 어떻게 종교적 구성이 권력 체계와 특권 그리고 문화적 계층에 연관되는 지를 사회학적으로 그리고 인류학적인 방법으로 접근한다. 

Call for Contributions

비교 종교와 다문화 문헌 저널은 종교와 문화 사회적인 계층 그리고 문헌들에서 논의되는 인간의 삶에 연관된 논문을 권장한다. 저널은 북 리뷰를 포함하며, 특히 종교와 문헌의 교차점을 다루는 저술들이나 포스트콜로니얼 비평에 관심한다.

• Manuscript Length: 5,000–5,500 words

• Citation Style: Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition)

• 저널은 영어와 한국어 바이링구얼로 출간되며 Comparative religion 게시판에 발행 연도와 호수에 따라 배열된다.

Policy Statement

프로렙시스 저널에 기재된 영어논문을 인용할 경우 반드시 원래의 출저를 확인하고 인용에서 기입해야한다. 

기고 논문은 편집위원에 의해 공개되지 않는 2명의 전문가의 평가를 거쳐야한다.   

The journal is published semiannually, in Summer and Winter. 

저널은 독자들에게 오픈 접근을 제공하며, 모든 기고 논문은 학문적인 연구의 새로움과 저널의 범위에 적합한 창의성을 

제공해야한다. 

저널은 여름과 겨울에 발행된다.

Ethical Guidelines

Research articles submitted to this journal will undergo peer review by two anonymous evaluators. 

The review process must adhere strictly to ethical policies and standards for scholarly publication. 

Publishing ethics are taken seriously, particularly regarding data falsification, plagiarism, 

inappropriate authorship credit, and other forms of publication misconduct.

기고 논문은 두명의 전문가의  익명의 평가절차를 거치며, 학문적인 출간을 위해 윤리적인 정책과 기준을 엄격하게 준수한다.

출간 윤리는 진지하게 다루어지며 자료의 왜곡과 표절, 적절하지 못한 저자의 기여와 신용도 그리고 학문적 남용에 연관된 내용들을 조사한다.
