Prolepsis is a scholarly journal developed through global exchange and collaboration with East Asian scholars at the Berkeley International Public Theology Forum Center. It aims to advance eschatological thought in dialogue with the natural sciences, ethics, multicultural education, and ecological integrity. The journal accepts bilingual submissions in Korean and English.
The image refers to the Monument to Multiculturalism in Toronto, Canada. Identical sculptures are also located in East London (South Africa), Changchun (China), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Sydney (Australia). Together, these monuments symbolize the global significance of the politics of recognition and the pursuit of the common good through inclusive governance.
Proleptic meaning is framed within a multicultural narrative, embracing the dynamic relationship between the past and the present. The journal seeks conceptual clarity by emphasizing the significance of eschatology for the vivid present, offering a perspective grounded in the lens of proleptic hope—particularly in connection with multicultural education.

Prolepsis welcomes essays that explore how eschatological thinking shapes ethical, cultural, and scientific understandings—particularly in relation to the politics of recognition within democratic and multicultural societies.
Prolepsis는 종말론적 사유가 윤리적, 문화적, 과학적 이해에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 탐구하는 논문을 장려합니다. 특히 민주주의와 다문화 사회 내에서 공공신학과 시스템 생물학 그리고 종교와 과학에 관련된 주제를 중심으로 한 논문을 장려합니다. 논문은 칼 바르트와 공공신학 안에 Public Theology in Forum에 발행 연도와 호수가 기재되어 보관됩니다.
Policy Statement
프로렙시스 저널에 기재된 영어논문을 인용할 경우 반드시 원래의 출저를 확인하고 인용에서 기입해야한다. 기고 논문은 편집위원에 의해 공개되지 않는 2명의 전문가의 평가를 거쳐야한다.
All manuscripts submitted to Prolepsis & Multicultural Education must demonstrate scientific novelty and creativity appropriate to the journal's scope.
The journal is published semiannually, in Spring and Fall.
저널은 독자들에게 오픈 접근을 제공하며, 모든 기고 논문은 학문적인 연구의 새로움과 저널의 범위에 적합한 창의성을 제공해야한다. 저널은 봄과 가을에 발행된다.
Ethical Guidelines
Research articles submitted to this journal will undergo peer review by two anonymous evaluators.
The review process must adhere strictly to ethical policies and standards for scholarly publication.
Publishing ethics are taken seriously, particularly regarding data falsification, plagiarism, inappropriate authorship credit,
and other forms of publication misconduct.
기고 논문은 두명의 전문가의 익명의 평가절차를 거치며, 학문적인 출간을 위해 윤리적인 정책과 기준을 엄격하게 준수한다.
출간 윤리는 진지하게 다루어지며 자료의 왜곡과 표절, 적절하지 못한 저자의 기여와 신용도 그리고 학문적 남용에 연관된 내용들을 조사한다.
